Anthony and Julie DiFabio: Married!

Anthony and Julie were married in Oklahoma City on St. Patrick’s day. I have been stoked about shooting their wedding ever since our awesome engagement session in October. They are two of the most talented people I have ever met, Anthony is in a band called “Leo Goes Grr” check out their awesome music here. He even wrote a song and had some of his groomsmen play with him during the ceremony. In spite of a bit of inclement weather, we got some great shots, it was a beautiful wedding, and I feel very honored to have been a part of their day. Congratulations!

p.s. At the reception, I was treated to the ABSOLUTE BEST ESPRESSO I have ever tasted, courtesy of Cafe Evoke. Seriously. Best espresso ever.

Erik and Abby: Married!

I had the privilege of travelling to Perryton Tx. in March to shoot Erik and Abby’s wedding. It took place in an old chapel contained within the grounds of a plains museum. Erik and Abby are two of the greatest people I have ever met, and we had tons of fun documenting their special day. The groomsmen were so excited, they could’t stop dancing all day (keep an eye out for those photos). Great times were had by all, I wish Erik and Abby all the best, I know that they have a great life ahead of them. Enjoy.

Anthony and Julie are engaged! I know that I have a backlog of photos from other shoots that I have yet to blog, but I got too excited about these two to make them wait in line. Anthony had planned on proposing on a friend’s sailboat on lake Hefner in Okc, but because of the drought, his plan was foiled. So instead, he took her to the dock and popped the question. He had arranged to have a friend provide ice-cold Arnold Palmer cans, and for “This Guy” (thumbs are pointed back at myself) to be there to document the whole thing. He had also arranged a trip to Tree and Leaf clothing, where John Milner had designed t-shirts to celebrate their engagement, which he printed on the spot. It was a very special evening with two very special friends, I wish them all the best, and look forward to being a part of their special day!

Katie Sutton, Senior

I first met Katie when she was just a kid, I can’t believe that she is graduating high school! Thanks for making me feel old! This shoot was tons of fun, crazy wind, and a little chilly, but she took it like a champ. Best of luck, Katie!

Mark is a Senior!

I have known Mark his entire life, I watched him grow up and have gone on some fine adventures with him, I can’t believe that he is graduating! He is one of the funniest people I know, and this was definitely one of the funnest shoots that I have ever done. TopHats+Star Wars Kid antics=AWESOME. May have to break this into two posts, too many fun photos to post in a single post. Pretty sure we need to copyright the “Icarus” and “Vertical Horizon” poses (look carefully at the ones of Mark leaning on things)! Congratulations Mark, this shoot was a blast!
